Built on CPI’s patented double-seal design, the same proven mechanism used in the J4 stainless-steel ball switch, these plungers combine mechanical strength, temperature endurance, and flexible installation options for military, marine, and industrial systems.
Rugged Design with Dual Sealing Integrity
The J4401 Series features an all-stainless-steel body and an integrated exclusion seal at the plunger interface, preventing contaminants such as hardened sand, mud, or oil from compromising actuation.
With long plunger travel, resistance to side-load stress, and operation in both high-temperature and high-pressure conditions, these switches are ideally suited for heavy-duty applications like cab-down sensing, valve position monitoring, or dump-body detection.
The D1021 Panel-Mount Series, by contrast, integrates the same double-seal ball carrier system into a compact, Santoprene®-sealed thermoplastic bushing and stainless enclosure — a configuration originally designed for lanyard and emergency stop switches on marine vehicles but now widely adopted for outdoor and industrial control systems.
