KinetiMax advantages of greater inertia and higher torque inherent in outer-rotor designs minimize cogging torque and maximize smoothness.

Introduction

In modern motion-control applications, designers seek compact, efficient, and reliable motor solutions that reduce integration complexity while maximizing performance. Allied Motion’s KinetiMax™ Brushless Motors with Drive series offers exactly that: a family of high-performance brushless DC motors featuring integrated drive electronics, delivering smooth torque, high efficiency, and simplified system design.

    Each motor incorporates a built-in drive, eliminating the need for an external controller in many applications. This reduces wiring, saves space, and simplifies installation.

Beyond EB: The High-Power Density (HPD) Series

For applications requiring even greater torque and flexibility, Allied Motion also offers the KinetiMax HPD frameless motors. These are supplied as stator/rotor kits, enabling direct integration into the customer’s mechanical assembly.

  • Torque: 0.24 Nm to 6.7 Nm continuous.

  • Power: Up to 1.2 kW in a highly compact form factor.
